. Position Description: We are seeking a Director of IT Business
Development (Public Sector) to join our CGI Team in leading our
strategic growth efforts in the Los Angeles metro! This position is
located in our Los Angeles, CA office. This career opportunity is
designed for a sales-driven leader with a passion for building
client relationships, driving revenue growth, and leading
high-performing teams. You will own business development, expand
market share, and deliver IT solutions that help private sector,
local government, and educational institutions operate more
efficiently. This position blends both greenfield and account
growth responsibilities to drive new client acquisition while
deepening and expanding relationships within existing accounts in
the Los Angeles metro region. You will be the driving force behind
our sales pipeline, competitive proposals, and solution offerings,
working closely with senior leadership, consultants, and global

How you'll make an impact Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership &
Business Development • Own and drive a strong pipeline of new
business across both existing and prospective accounts • Lead
greenfield expansion by identifying, developing, and closing
opportunities in new markets and with new clients • Develop and
execute a sales strategy that balances new logo acquisition and
account farming to achieve revenue growth targets • Leverage a
strong personal network to establish and deepen executive-level
relationships • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them
navigate complex IT and business challenges • Lead strategic
pursuits, including proposal development, oral presentations, and
deal structuring Revenue & P&L Management • Manage a
sub-P&L with accountability for revenue, profitability, and
growth • Oversee budgets, forecasting, pricing models, and contract
negotiations • Ensure financial success through strategic pricing,
effective service delivery, and client satisfaction Team Leadership
& Delivery Excellence • Lead a team of consultants, driving both
sales and successful project execution • Apply best practices in
team development, succession planning, and performance management •
Manage profitability of engagements Required qualifications to be
successful in this role: What you'll bring • 10 years of experience
in selling and delivering IT solutions to the public sector • 5
years of experience managing Profit & Loss within a consulting
organization, with a focus on both sales and delivery • Proven
track record in strategic sales planning, pipeline development, and
closing complex IT consulting deals • Ability to challenge client
assumptions, drive innovative solutions, and position CGI as a
market leader • Strong understanding of public sector challenges,
procurement processes, and digital transformation trends •
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills at the
executive level • Ability to travel as needed Minimum Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree Other Information: CGI is required by

compensation range for this role. The determination of this range
includes various factors not limited to skill set, level,
experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To
support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI
typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range
for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts
and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the
current range for this role in the U.S. is $143,500.00 -
