    Join the Clean Energy Revolution The Energy Risk Senior Specialist (ERSS) will be a senior lead on overseeing collateral holdings to manage credit exposure on Energy Procurement & Management, Transmission & Distribution, Operational Services, and Customer Service activities. Additionally, the Senior Specialist will develop, and maintain policies for SOX, Business Continuity Planning, Internal Audits, and Regulatory Compliance. The Senior Specialist will work closely with Managers and other internal partners to develop presentations for review of Risk Management policies and processes. -

    • Maintain SOX documents and business continuity plans
    • Represent Risk Management at companywide meetings regarding policies and documents
    • Perform variance analysis and validate structured contracts, GHG, and CRRs in the systems of record for accuracy
    • Analyze MTM inputs for integrity prior to running daily, monthly, quarterly processes
    • Execute complex spreadsheets to generate forward curves and MTM values for daily, monthly, and quarter end reporting
    • Independently analyze MTM data and provide explanations for quarter-end financial reporting
    • Review collateral instruments such as letters of credit, parental guarantees, surety bonds, escrow accounts, and cash for accuracy and process for approval
    • Enter all transactions in the appropriate system of record to ensure accurate recordkeeping of all collateral held and posted Qualifications
      The Essentials:
      • Five years with experience in finance, accounting, or energy industry
      • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint The Preferred
        • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or related field
        • Experience with energy contracts, risk management related to energy procurement, or the CAISO market
        • Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
        • Demonstrated experience with macros, database queries
        • Knowledge of Entegrate, Endur, or other commodity trading systems
        • Experience with SAP You should know--- -
          Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
