A company is looking for a Head of Platform Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Platform Engineers while
fostering a collaborative culture
Define and drive the strategic vision and product roadmap for the
platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Champion the "Platform as a Product" approach, focusing on
enhancing developer experience and autonomy
Required Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams,
preferably in platform, DevOps, or SRE roles
Strong understanding of "Platform as a Product" principles and
experience applying a product management mindset
Extensive hands-on experience in scaling platforms within a DevOps
culture, including CI/CD pipeline management
Deep technical knowledge in software development, cloud
infrastructure, and observability tools
Ability to translate business strategy into a clear platform
roadmap while making pragmatic decisions
