Job Description:

Stress Engineer III Responsibilities: Independently conduct stress, strain, and fatigue analysis on components, subassemblies, and systems. Use FEA tools and hand calculations to verify the structural integrity of designs. Review and check engineering designs to ensure they meet project requirements, safety standards, and regulations. Lead medium projects Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders with little oversight Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, testing, and manufacturing, to resolve engineering challenges. Recommend design improvements and alternative materials based on analysis. Can perform difficult structural analysis and FEAs with little any guidance. Requirements: 6 years of relevant experience (Master’s degree counts for 2 years of experience) Bachelor’s Degree, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent Proficient in stress calculations and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran) Strong analytical skills and familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ASTM). Ability to manage medium projects and prioritize tasks.
