liaison between Edison's SD&D team and several stakeholder
groups including the diverse supplier community, community-based
organizations, the CPUC, SCE Procurement, spending OUs, and other
Edison supporting functions (e.g., Corp Affairs). You will have
primary responsibility for program design and implementation, with
requirements to perform supplier identification and outreach,
supplier development, internal and external communications,
reporting, and continuous improvement. You'll establish, monitor,
and report progress against DBE spend goals and prepare recovery
plans where data monitoring or reports indicate deficiencies, and
you'll build and maintain relationships with diverse businesses,
governmental entities and other stakeholders. As a Principal
Manager, Supplier Diversity & Development, your work will help

- Directs the strategy development and execution of supplier
diversity & development best practices. Manages supply chain
strategies and supplier relationships that achieve Company diverse
supplier goals. Ensures short- and long-term value in the effort to
increase and maintain a more inclusive diverse supplier pool.

- Oversees spend management and subcontracting programs including
working with prime suppliers to deliver and drive additional spend
with diverse suppliers. Works with Company leadership in delivering
diverse supplier spend management data to plan and forecast diverse
supplier performance. Ensures compliance with governmental
regulations. Using regular interactions, data, and ideas,
influences management, senior leaders and colleagues across the
organization to increase diverse supplier participation and
awareness.
- Develops and executes strategies to help diverse suppliers
advance and succeed with procurement opportunities including
training, coaching and mentoring.
- Be responsible for the company's reporting and compliance
obligations to the CPUC, as well as the company's discretionary
reporting regarding its Supplier Diversity & Development program
(e.g., DEI Report, Economic Impact Report, Sustainability
Report).
- Represents the Company and builds relationships with
governmental entities, businesses, community-based organizations,
and diverse stakeholders on all matters relating to supplier
diversity & development.
- Manages employee performance for both direct and/or matrixed
reports. Establishes performance expectations and goals aligned
with Company objectives, policies and procedures. Manages, trains
and develops staff by providing timely feedback, coaching and
support. Makes, recommends and/or approves employment decisions
(e.g., hiring, promotion, appropriate pay, rewards/recognition,
succession planning, termination). Promotes the Company's safety
culture to ensure a safe work environment. Manages resources and
budget levels to meet strategic objectives and operational needs.

Qualifications
The essentials
- 7+ years of experience managing, supervising, or leading an
organization, unit, or group.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on spend
management.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
delivery to large audiences. The preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration, Finance or Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience with supply chain management
- 5+ years of experience in supplier diversity programs.
- 10+ years of experience leading an at-scale Supplier Diversity
program.
- 10+ years of experience in an at-scale Procurement
organization.
- 10+ years leading teams as a supervising manager, optimally
with 10 or more employees.
- Knowledge of General Order 156, supply management procurement
processes, policies, and procedures.
- Experience leading organizations beholden to GO156.
- 10+ years of analytical prowess in a Supplier Diversity team
capacity, with a specific focus on spend management.
- 10+ years of experience with broad-scale written and verbal
executive-level audience communications.
- Excellent leader with a track record of inspiring teams.
- Seamless ability to influence across organizations, both
internal and external. -
- Internal drive for continuous improvement, including a
competitive spirit to "improve the numbers" with relentless effort.

- Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined,
this position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an
SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work
remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees
are required to reside in the state of California. Further details
