matter expert for talent planning and the implementation of
high-quality career and development plans for high potential
executives and non-executives. Consult with Organizational Unit
(OU) Senior Leadership, Line Managers, HR Center of Excellence
(COEs), HRBPs and external resources to design and support
implementation of the talent planning cycle and robust development
plans for our high potential employees. Plan and facilitate talent
review discussions and calibrations, employee feedback sessions,
and manage supporting systems, documentation, metrics, and other
tools to ensure accountability for achieving development results.

- Implement annual talent planning cycle within assigned OU

- Using expertise in career development and input from profile
review meetings with leaders, write robust career planning profiles
highlighting strengths, development needs, etc.
- Present Career Planning profiles at monthly and bi-annual
Talent day meetings: Facilitate discussions with leaders at the OU
level (monthly) and at the SLT level (Bi-annually) to review
development needs, identify actions and next steps needed to
further develop High Potential (HiPos) program.
- Advises employees and leaders in creating robust development
plans which incorporate an appropriate range of learning activities
including projects, new assignments, self-study, coaching/mentoring
and other experiential learning opportunities
- Plan and facilitate assigned talent review and calibration
discussions at varying levels including OU Senior Leadership Team
(SLT) meetings. Ensure data generated during talent review
discussions is updated in the SuccessFactors system.
- Assist the Manager, Talent Management with the preparation of
metrics and reports used to drive accountability for talent reviews
and development planning discussions across the enterprise.
- Remain current on best practices in leadership/talent
development and offers recommendations to continuously improve
Edison's development planning and talent review processes.
Qualifications
The essentials
- 10 years of Human Resources experience
- 7 years of experience in development planning and talent
management -
- Experience analyzing and integrating talent data and producing
impactful reports - The preferred
- BS or MS in Education, Learning, Psychology, Leadership
Development or other related degree
- Three (3) years' experience planning and facilitating talent
review meetings
- Experience working with SuccessFactors Talent Management
modules including succession, performance, development, and goal
management to support the talent and development planning
processes
- Experience using Power BI to build talent reports

- Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined,
this position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an
SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work
remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees
are required to reside in the state of California. Further details
