Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with LGBT+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena, San Marino and the Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area. Job Description: The Case Manager for Reasons is responsible for managing the treatment activities offered to the Reasons patients, which may include the appropriate clinical screening of potential admissions, establishment of treatment plans, interface with the treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations and implementation and supervision and/or accomplishes all aspects of the discharge planning process. Requirements: R.N. or Bachelor, Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, psychology or a related field preferred.A minimum of four (4) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting. Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable license.May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
