Job Description:
The Director of Development is responsible for the design,
development, and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems
software to meet the company's information needs. This position
establishes IS policies, standards, practices, and security
measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing
operations and to safeguard information resources. The Director of
Development works with IS Leadership to select and retain qualified
staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for
the continuity of managerial and specialized skills.You'll get a
chance to:
- Manage the design, development, improvement, and maintenance of
systems, programs, and systems software to meet management's and
company's information needs.
- Establish IS policies, standards, practices and security
measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing
operations and to safeguard information resources.
- Lead the various software development teams, including
training, mentoring, and project and task assignments.
- Work with the IS Leadership to select and retain qualified
staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for
the continuity of managerial and specialized skills.
- Coach and develop the team to elevate their performance in
support of the company's growth strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of development in the area of systems and
hardware and incorporates new knowledge into a cohesive development
vision and strategy for the company.
- Work with peers, business partners, offshore development and
vendors to build and maintain close relationships and

- Bachelor's degree in IS or related field required
- Minimum ten years of IS experience with increasing management
responsibility, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required
training
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of
employment is a requirement of this position.

Within the range, individual pay is determined using various
