Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Records Manager to oversee
the maintenance, security, and accuracy of patient health
records.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the medical records department,
ensuring accurate and secure record ingestion
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including
HIPAA
Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of medical records
staff
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management,
Health Administration or related field (RHIT or RHIA certification
preferred)
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in health information or medical
records management with supervisory experience
In-depth knowledge of healthcare documentation, EMR systems, and
HIPAA regulations
Proficiency in using tele-health technology and cloud technology
such as Slack, Google Suite, and Zoom
