Job Description:
A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking for an Agile coach
to be based in Rosemead, CA. The position is on a Hybrid model. The
duration is 18 months. W2 and local only. Day to Day
Responsibilities: --- Team Coach - coach for 4-8 teams at various
maturity and development stages responsible for: o Identifying team
performance opportunities and establishing Agile best practices o
Implementing and championing Agile Maturity Metrics o Facilitating
setup and optimization of team performance and work product
tracking (Octane and UMTPI - analogous to Jira/Ado) o Supporting
Scrum Teams by ? Training and bolstering key roles (typically
Product Owner and Scrum Master) ? Observing and recommending
improvements to Scrum Events ? Implementing Key Scrum Performance
metrics ? Laying foundation for Agile at Scale (Scrum of Scrums and
Product Lines) o Supporting Kanban Teams by ? Facilitating
establishment and maintenance of team agreements and policies ?
Implementing key Kanban performance Metrics ? Laying foundation for
Agile at Scale (Up/downstream handoffs) o Conducting assessments
and reporting on team performance o Rehabilitating troubled teams
--- Agile Trainer - Deliver team and organizational training on
following topics o Intro to Agile o Scrum Master Role (Intro and
Advanced) o Product Owner Role (Intro and Advanced) o Agile Leader
o Scaled Agile o Kanban (Intro & Advanced) o Workshops Scrum
Ceremonies ? Backlog Shaping ? Agile BRD ? Agile Procurement ?
Story Writing ? Roadmap Planning and Creation --- Organizational
Transformation and Change - Support Agile transformation by: o
Conducting assessments and reporting on team performance o
Influencing policies and processes to benefit agile practitioners o
Supporting adoption of key change metrics o Support teams through
change Required Skills/Attributes: Responsibilities - Minimum 5
years combined experience as an Agile coach at Fortune 500
company(s) - Minimum 5 years as Project Manager in a waterfall
environment at Fortune 500 company(s) - Agile at Scale Cert (SAFe,
LeSS, or equivalent) - Certified Agile Trainer by accredited
organization (Scrum Alliance or equivalent) Desired
Skills/Attributes: In addition to meeting all qualifications listed
