is looking to bring on a talented 1st Shift Water Bearing . This
role is based on-site in our Huntington Beach, CA warehouse. The
hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time
from 5:15 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. The position will be rotational helping
to support the combined efforts of multiple positions within our
Assembly team, such as Water-Bearing, Final Assembly, and Picking.
The Assembly Production Team Member is a critical role within the
company and has a direct impact on the quality and quantity of
products that California Faucets provides to its customers. The
primary purpose of this position is to fulfill customer orders by
testing, assembling components, and packaging them into completed
plumbing faucets and fixtures. When performing these jobs, the
following activities are required: Assembling plumbing systems and
fixtures (spouts, valves, showerheads, etc.). Inspection of
finished components during assembly to conform to quality
standards. Following instructions and locating parts on Pick
Tickets. Notifying team leader of quality variances and parts
shortages. Operating hand tools. Efficiently acquiring parts and
ensuring the correct number and type of part is obtained for
assembly or final packaging. Reading and counting accurately,
performing simple math, and writing legibly. Ensuring rework and
repair orders are maintained in an organized manner, and up to
date. Maintaining close communication with the Finishing team to
ensure rework components are returned to the Assembly departments
in a timely manner. Performing additional assignments per
management direction. Use of manual, electric, and air powered hand
tools. Application of adhesives and lubricants Monitoring the shelf
life and expiration dates. Please note that this job description is

Adaptability/flexibility when encountering problems. Must be able
to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to solve
problems and implement solutions. Ability to follow instructions
and comply with all safety regulations including the use of
personal protective equipment. Attention to detail, accuracy,
dependability, and persistence. Ability to work overtime as needed.
Environmental and Safety Considerations: Possible exposure to heat,
cold, dust, and moderate noise when working indoors. May be
required to work with adhesives, power tools, forced air.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory
responsibilities. People Interface: The position requires contact
primarily within the department on routine matters. Contact outside
the Production Department is minimal. Decision Making: The position
requires working from detailed instructions as well as the use of
judgment to plan and perform general decisions to solve a problem
or select a course of action for a standard or recognized method of
operation. Supervision Received: Under general supervision,
assignments are both task-oriented and objective-oriented. Follows
established procedures for routine work; receives specific
instruction on non-routine problems. Accountabilities: After
adequate training, the position requires a level of accountability
to complete a pre-determined amount of work or units completed per
shift. Education and Experience: The minimum educational
requirement to successfully perform this position is a high school
diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Someone entering this position
should have at least six (6) months experience performing similar
work in a related field. Physical Requirements: The physical
demands described herein are representative of those that must be
met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions
of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee
is regularly required to walk and use hands to finger. The employee
is frequently required to stand extended periods of time; reach
with hands and arms below and above shoulder; climb or balance,
stoop, kneel, crouch, twist or crawl. The employee may be required
to lift/carry 1-50 pounds when necessary. The employee must be able
to visually identify small finish imperfections. PLEASE NOTE:
Management reserves the right to change or otherwise modify the
functions of this rotational and combined position description to
meet the needs of the Company. This includes multiple positions
within the Production Department that the Company proactively
rotates for health and safety purposes and when staffing needs
dictate. Employees with the skillsets required to perform any of
the following positions can and will be rotated into the proper
Production position under the direction of the Production Manager
as they have been cross-trained to do so.
