Analysis, Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and

supporting our Income Qualified, Disadvantage and Vulnerable
Communities organization delivers customer focused programs that
create healthier and more resilient communities, help customers
save energy, and lower customer energy bills through bill
assistance programs. Provide data modeling and analytics reporting
in support of programs that assist our customers. Support the
planning and development of business strategies to assist Income
Qualified, Disadvantage and Vulnerable customers through
statistical analysis and forecasting. Perform analysis and tracking
regarding the service area-wide implementation of existing and new
customer assistance programs. Utilize advanced analytics tools such
as SAS to build forecasting and predictive models. And utilize
visualization tools such as PowerBI to create reporting dashboards
for all existing and new customer assistance programs. As a Senior
Specialist, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon

- Collect, compile, and mine data from various enterprise systems
in relation to income qualified customers.
- Design and analyze advanced analytics projects, work with large
and diverse data sets, perform data cleansing, create SAS/SQL
queries, create SAS stored procedures, and create automated
reports.
- Utilize visualization tools such as PowerBI, R Shiny, Tableau
and others to generate reports for regulatory/compliance and
internal purposes.
- Provide support to the implementation of solutions in a variety
of business/technical areas including defining business and system
requirements, project scope, and perform User Acceptance
Testing
- Provide data analytics reporting and written content for
numerous regulatory/compliance reports highlighting the Income
Qualified, Disadvantaged and Vulnerable Communities organizations
program performance and impact across our service area.
Qualifications
The essentials
- Five (5) years of experience designing, building, and analyzing
advanced analytics projects.
- Three years of experience working with large and diverse data
sets, SAS/SQL queries or MS Access, data cleansing, and report
automation.
- Experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI, or
Tableau.
- Experience leading multiple advanced analytics projects from
inception to implementation.
- Experience gathering business requirements and user acceptance
testing. The preferred
- Technical expertise and familiarity with SAP, data analytics,
system configuration, and reporting protocols.
- Experience identifying business gaps, developing scope change
controls to address business gaps, and coordinating with process
owners to implement improvements
- Knowledge of SAP HANA/HADOOP reporting, Data warehousing and
ETL process.
- PMP Certification, Data Science Certifications, and/or
Bachelor's degree. You should know ...
- Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined,
this position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an
SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work
remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees
