The Windows System Engineer is also responsible for managing Active Directory and its Group Policy Objects (GPO). This position troubleshoots Windows Server performance issues. You'll get a chance to:+ Be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows Server Operating System 2008-2022 and its related software.+ Perform daily system and security monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs.+ Be responsible for developing and maintaining Organization Units (OU) and managing user security using group policies according to company guidelines.+ Be responsible for keeping servers fully patched, including hot fixes, according to the MS patch monthly release cycle and company guidelines.+ Resolve escalated Windows and server applications incident tickets.+ Perform root cause analysis and develops specific solutions to prevent future reoccurrence.+ Work on Windows-related projects for on-time delivery and within budget.+ Be responsible for timely and effectively communications to stakeholder, support team and coordinate technical knowledge transfer.+ Perform daily backup operations and ensures all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up and integrity checked regularly.+ Participate in the design, implementation, and management of workload automation initiatives.+ Adhere to firm Change Management, Problem Management policies and relies on familiarity with ITIL to develop and maintain system level documentation for the support of business processes.+ Participate in the quarterly disaster recovery test and conducts system maintenance activities. + Cross-train other team members within and across IS teams to ensure knowledge of the Windows Systems.How we reward you:+ Hybrid Work schedule + 401K with company match+ Yearly bonus opportunity*+ Full medical, dental, and vision insurance *+ On-site fitness center, biometric screen, and flu shot clinic+ Discounts at Panda restaurants, theme parks, and gym memberships+ Paid time off starting at 15 days with 7 federal holidays*+ Continuous education assistance and scholarships*+ Income protection including Disability, Life and AD&D insurance*+ Bereavement leave**Benefits available for eligible permanent full time associatesYour background & experience:+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.+ Minimum five years of system administration experience in a Windows Server environment, including experience administering in Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), PowerShell scripting and network-related services, such as Domain Name Service (DNS), DHCP, etc. + Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate and/or MCSA Certifications required + Successful completion of annual store training+ If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on your start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
