Description:Oversees all employee benefit programs to ensure they are properly administered and legally compliant; conducts analysis to evaluate the rate structure and work with the benefits vendor (consulting firm) to recommend changes to benefit plans to improve coverage and/or deliver benefits more cost effectively.Provides recommendations on improving benefits based on competitive analysis with peer organizations in order to address employee concerns and ensure competitiveness.Communicates market competitiveness of benefit programs as a recruiting tool to candidates and HR Generalists.Creates training guide and conducts training sessions at the SC and in the field for both Support Center and Operations associates to communicate the benefit options available as the basis for their making appropriate benefit selections. Serves on the 401(K) Committee, gathering information on the plan and associate participation for the Committees considerationSkills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree required; business and/or HR major preferred. Minimum five years of experience in HR, with at least three years in benefits, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment.Successful completion of annual store training.Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits, including health, retirement, leaves, and other benefit programsComprehensive knowledge of HR laws and regulations, particularly those applicable to benefit programs (e.g., 401(K), health care and leave legislation, etc.)Thorough knowledge of HRIS (Lawson) and ability to extract informationStrong project and time management skillsStrong financial analysis skillsStrong negotiating skillsComputer/technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)Strong analytical and research skills Ability to effectively influence and negotiate with vendorsAbility to provide effective training on benefit and related HR processes and programsAbility to manage complex projectsAbility to solve complex problemsAbility to work positively with other departments and Operations (win/win)Ability to build strong relationships internally and externallyAbility to embrace change and continuous learningExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
