you'll primarily work in the OT Security space to ensure
integration Cybersecurity solutions within multiple Grid
Modernization efforts. As an -OT -Cybersecurity, Advisor, your work
will help ensure security measures align with our critical
infrastructure updates that power our planet, reduce carbon
emissions, and create cleaner more efficient energy for everyone.

- Apply your knowledge of system engineering, risk identification
and mitigations through Consequence-driven, Cyber-informed
Engineering (CCE) practices for OT Grid Mod efforts.
- Develop IT/OT integrated security design and engineering
strategies for integrated Cybersecurity solutions into Operational
Technology (OT) environments. -
- Assess OT organizations future and emerging technologies to
establish lowest risk profile, integrated security solutions and
awareness to the organizational unit to align Cybersecurity
Standards with operational best practices.
- Support establishing programmatic approach to implementing
secure hygiene practices in OT business solutions.
- Mentor junior IR and Engineering resources. Qualifications The
essentials
- Seven (7) or more years of Cybersecurity experience.
- Three (3) or more -years of OT (Operational Technology) / ICS
(Industrial Control System) security experience. The preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science,
Information Systems, or related field of study.
- Experience with Consequence-driven, Cyber-informed Engineering
(CCE) practices.
- Experience with OT Cybersecurity technology strategies and
tactical procedure development.
- ICS Security Industry experience, national labs,
multi-functional Utility Sector participation
- Possess one or more of the following Information Security
certifications: CISSP, GSEC, CRISC, GREM, GNFA, CCNA, Certified
Information Security Manager (CISM) or GSEC You should know ---
- This position's work mode is -hybrid. The employee will report
to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work
remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees
are required to reside in the state of California. Further details

- The primary work location for this position is Rosemead, CA
however, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an
extended amount of time being out in the field throughout the SCE
service territory.
- Position may require up to 5-10% traveling between alternate
SCE work location sites.
- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted
position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass
a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once
hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to
gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing
necessary job duties.
- Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work
directly as employees for any employer in the United States without
visa sponsorship.
- US Citizenship required as part of Critical Infrastructure
security protocols. Testing
- This position requires testing, and applicants who are selected
to continue through the process will be invited to test via email.
