  Join the Clean Energy Revolution! The Site Deployment Portfolio Manager will be part of the Field Area Network group within Information Technology Grid Services organization at Southern California Edison (SCE). In this critical role, you will be supporting the Field Area Network (FAN) Site Deployment Team to implement telecommunications network infrastructure for the FAN Radio Access Network sites. You will be responsible for developing project tracking processes, planning and coordination across multiple business clients across the company. -

  • Work with engineers to address, document, and track project scope, schedule, dependencies, budget estimates, and financial forecasts.
  • Lead intake, development, and tracking of project implementation and budget annually for Field Area Network capital projects.
  • Use project tracking tools (Work Manager, Site Tracker) to document and update project information.
  • Develop medium to long term resource, schedule, and budget plans for Field Area Network portfolio.
  • Develop and provide integrated project cost, forecast, and schedule report.
  • Conduct and facilitate regularly scheduled project team meetings with Engineers, OU partners, Vendors, and Sponsors to convey general status and updates on project deliverables, milestones, and overall project work.
  • Support project engineers to handle project risks, resolve issues, and address concerns impacting project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Contribute to the development of overall Field Area Network business plans in support of corporate objectives. Qualifications
    The Essentials:
    • Seven (7) years of experience managing or supporting technical or telecom engineering projects. The Preferred:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Technical subject areas or related field.
      • Professional training and certifications consistent with Project Management including PMP, six Sigma, Agile, ITIL.
      • Knowledge with SAP
      • Experience managing medium to large technology projects with multi-functional, matrixed teams including vendor resources under statements of work and contracts (fixed bid and/or time-and-materials).
      • Experience with contract management or invoicing.
      • Experience with LTE site development and deployment
      • Three (3) years of process development experience

        Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
