Job Description Job Title: Healthcare Technician – CNA or LVN or MA Location: Onsite – Los Angeles, CA Job Type: Full-Time, direct hire Schedule: Flexibility Required (Including Weekends) Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $39.00/hour benefits Project Overview This research study focuses on indoor data generation and video recording of participants. The Healthcare Technician will be responsible for conducting precise body measurements while ensuring a comfortable and respectful environment for participants. This role requires a strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to consistent, high-quality data collection. Key Responsibilities: Perform anthropometric measurements (height, weight, head circumference, BMI, body circumference, skinfold thickness) with precision and care. Engage with participants in a professional, respectful manner—building rapport to create a comfortable experience, especially in scenarios involving minimal clothing. Utilize high-precision technology and manual instruments to collect data. Work independently with minimal supervision to execute tasks and troubleshoot issues. Track and manage large datasets in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers). Operate and debug software and hardware across multiple OS platforms (Linux, Windows, macOS). Log, organize, and maintain data integrity while flagging and resolving technical issues when needed. Qualifications & Requirements: Prior experience conducting anthropometric (non-invasive) measurements is required. Strong fine motor skills and physical agility (e.g., ability to bend, kneel, and move around participants as needed). High attention to detail with the ability to ensure consistent, accurate data. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor. Capable of taking initiative, problem-solving, and communicating effectively. Comfortable working in close proximity to participants and discussing physical metrics with sensitivity. Ability to learn and apply new technology quickly with minimal instruction.
