Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Part-Time
Licensed Therapist provides client-centered, evidence-based mental
health services to individuals, couples, and families. The role
focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic
interventions that support emotional wellness and resilience, while
maintaining ethical, legal, and documentation standards. This
position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on
clients' lives while balancing a part-time schedule of 8–20 hours
per week with opportunities to provide services both in-office and
virtually. We are open for services: Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–8:00pm
(in-office), 9:00am–10:00pm (virtual) Friday–Saturday:
9:00am–6:00pm (in-office & virtual) Sunday: 9:00am–6:00pm (virtual
only) Minimum Qualifications: Valid and active state license to
practice therapy (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in CA. Master’s degree or
higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental
health field. Demonstrated experience providing individual and
group therapy. Strong knowledge of ethical standards and
confidentiality regulations in mental health care. Ability to work
minimum of 8 hours weekly. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred work
arrangement: Hybrid (in-office remote) Experience working with
diverse populations including different age groups and cultural
backgrounds. Training or certification in specialized therapeutic
modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or trauma-informed care.
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and delivering remote mental
health services. Bilingual abilities or proficiency in a second
language relevant to client demographics. Experience collaborating
within integrated care or multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand
clients' mental health needs and goals. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic
techniques. Provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions in a
confidential and supportive environment. Maintain detailed and
timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory
requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer
clients to additional resources as needed. Stay current with best
practices and participate in professional development activities.
Skills: The required skills enable the therapist to conduct
thorough assessments and deliver effective, evidence-based
interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building
trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Organizational skills support accurate clinical documentation and
compliance with legal and ethical standards. Preferred skills such
as proficiency in teletherapy platforms enhance the therapist’s
ability to provide flexible and accessible care. Additionally,
cultural competence and specialized therapeutic training allow the
therapist to address complex mental health issues with sensitivity
and expertise.
